- Rip out arthur (2min)
- Prepare transcript for aligner (~15min)
- Create aligned TextGrids with phoneme and word (unsupervised, so negligable)
- Fix the alignment (~80 vowels (all AE/EH): 15min)
- Run script (10min)
- Prep for analysis (essentially 0min)
- Analyze tokens for vowels
For Luke:
1. Identify/code/record info (on spread sheet)/cut & post/archive docs/ map for each recording – N/A
2. Transcribing free conversation (Transcriber) – 1.5 to 3 hours
3. Rip out arthur – 2 minutes
4. Prepare transcript for aligner – 15 minutes
5. Create aligned TextGrids with phoneme and word – 5 to 10 minutes to make sure there are no issues with the transcript format or dictionary entries.
6. Fix alignment – ~80 vowels AE/EH, 15 to 40 minutes
7. Run script – 10 minutes
