Based on our discussion last week, here’s the procedure for getting files prepped for analysis.
1. Create a blog with the title of the long file name if the blog hasn’t been created yet. If it has, edit the blog.
2. Add text as to the stage (e.g., Wave is uploaded but not aligned; File is now aligned, etc.) followed by your initials and date in square brackets (e.g., [TP, 10-1-2011]). We should also note whether the subject information has been logged, etc.
3. Upload the appropriate file. The net result will be a wave file, any modified wave files, a text grid, etc.
Once the files are up and aligned, then we’ll (actually Nick) move the files from the aligner computer in the lab to the storage computer across the room.
