Based on our discussion last week, here’s the procedure for getting files prepped for analysis. 

Raw recording. The file has been taken care of.

Attached a transcript, APP001.txt, that needs to be put into Transcriber. – NW

This is the Praat script that I use in Eng 330, 331 for students to measure vowel formants. 

We are going to use the blog structure to organize our recordings, data, scripts and other things. All blogs need to have a ‘type of content’ tag.

If you are logged in, you can see a block called Dropbox File List.  This is a list of the files that have been added via the Dropbox content type.  This will show the last 5 uploaded.

Process:

User login, (must have account created for them)

Create Content

Dropbox for Files

browses to the file in question
