Eric was successful in getting the Mac desktop to run imovie and now we can dedicate this computer to the task of ultrasound recording.
Additionally, Eric figured out how to get a still.
1. in the bottom panel (new event), cntl-click on a spot where you want a still. Choose ‘add still frame to project’ and the still will appear in the top window.
2. in the top panel (the project), cntl-click the still and select ‘reveal in finder’. This will put a jpeg in the finder.
3. move the clip to your correct directory.
